Our Muskoka Adventure - Warm Autumn & Cranberry Flavours - Special Edition

Set of 4 Mini Beer & Apple Cider Jellies (4 x 44 ml)

For an incredible culinary experience, we offer you a set of four mini jellies made with three amazing & unique local craft beers and one artisan apple cider.

These are the flavours we have chosen specifically for you:

  • Cranberry, Walnut, Vanilla Apple Cider (FALL FEELS, Two Blokes, Seagrave). This “one of a kind” apple cider carries amazing toasted black walnuts and a rush of tart Muskoka Lakes cranberries, which are balanced with a nutty, vanilla semi-sweet finish. Try this apple cider jelly with some fresh goat cheese, a soft creamy cheese like brie or a nutty hard cheese like Manchego.

  • Octoberfest Marzen (Catapult Brewing, Toronto). This iconic Bavarian lager beer carries aromas of freshly baked baguette, toasted bread, digestive biscuits or pretzels. Hops provide a crisp counterbalance to the rich bready notes and bring light spicy and citrusy flavours. Try this beauty with a nuttier white cheese, something like old-caved Gruyère, an Italian-style cheese like Piave-inspired Mont Amore or a German-style cheese like Limburger.

  • West Coast IPA (LONE PINE, Sawdust Brewing, Gravenhurst). We need always an IPA when enjoying our cheese and charcuterie board. This beer is aggressively hopped and bursting with flavours of pine and citrus, loaded with mounds of hops and balanced with a blend of 4 different malts. Pair this beer jelly with some Goat cheese, Gouda, Cheddar or Pecorino. Think spicy cheese and spicy charcuterie too!

  • Double Chocolate Cranberry Stout (WINTER BEARD, Muskoka, Toronto). Chocolate and cranberry lead the way with subtle notes of roasted coffee. Unsurprisingly, perhaps, this beer jelly goes very well with chocolate, and why not with this iconic Italian chocolate blue cheese? Try also this chocolaty and toasty seasonal ale beer jelly with other blue cheese, old cheddar and charcuterie, rillette and foie gras of course!

*** You could substitute Octoberfest Marzen with Pumpkin Ale (Lake of Bays Brewing Co, Baysville). This Pumpkin Ale features Magnum and Fuggles hops as well as pumpkin, autumn spice and vanilla. This beer jelly is flavourful and malt-forward, with subtle notes of nut, caramel and autumn spice. This is the perfect pairing for an aged Gouda. Other cheese pairing suggestions are fresh chèvre such as Capricho de Cabra, or Sbrinz, an Alpage raw milk Swiss that’s been aged three years, or why not a spicy asiago.***

Thanks for letting us know which beer jelly you prefer to get in your limited edition - Marzen or Pumpkin Ale.

This combination of craft beer & apple cider jellies is a must to spice up your fall and holiday seasons.

These beer & apple cider jellies will bring out nicely the flavours of artisan cheeses with a mild creamy, fruity, nutty, or earthy aroma and a funkier, goatier, meatier or more complex character.

Did we mention that these beer jellies go perfectly on a charcuterie board too?

HOW TO STORE BEER JELLIES

Our Beer Jellies are made with natural ingredients and a low quantity of sugar. The texture is like a soft jelly. It gets softer in a warm environment and firmer when stored in the fridge.

Our Beer Jellies are “canned” as recommended for long-term storage (18 months). As a result, you should store an unopened jar standing up in a cool and dark place, away from sunlight and sources of heat. Exposure to light and heat could degrade the jelly quickly, affecting its flavour, consistency, and appearance. The pantry or a cabinet in the kitchen are the best choices.

Once you open the jar, please store the jelly in the fridge.

Remember to seal the jar tightly and put it back into the refrigerator after use. This procedure ensures the jam remains fine for a more extended period and minimizes the chances of microbial contamination that might make it spoil.

After opening a jar of Beer Jelly, our best before date is within two weeks to a month. Our beer jellies can retain their flavour and last up to a few months if properly stored.
